OUTDOOR BOUNCY CASTLE HIRE TORQUAY, PAIGNTON, BRIXHAM, NEWTON ABBOT & SOUTH DEVON
The Bouncy Castles & Inflatables in this section can be used for Outdoor (on real grass only) & Indoor use.
All our outdoor bouncy castles are available to hire from April to September each year and subject to weather conditions, for any months outside of this please call 07467200292 to discuss your requirements.
All outdoor bookings are subject to an additional fee of £10 on top of the inflatable hire price.
If your inflatable is booked to be used in a hall the day after your booking then we reserve the right to change your bouncy castle and supply you with an alternative if it is due to rain on the day of your hire or the grounds are wet/muddy from any rain and weather conditions leading up to the day of your booking.
We always regularly check the forecast in the week leading up to your hire date and will keep you well informed and give you the opportunity to find a hall of your choice if the weather isn't looking favourable and the wind gust forecast is 25mph or above (this speed will be lower if the grounds are wet from prolonged periods or rain).
Upon booking we will require a picture of your garden and a picture/video of the access into the garden (i.e. driveway, steps etc.) These can be sent by Whatsapp to 07467200292. They will then be used to risk assess the booking.
All outdoor bookings need to be on real grass (not artificial unless you want holes left in your grass from the pegs) and in an enclosed front/back garden, with outside access to the garden via a gate or a walkway round the side of the house. This is so they can be safely secured to HSE regulations.
We ask that for when we arrive the access has been made clear in order for us to provide you with a timely quality service as we will not have time or are insured to move any obstructions in our way.
We allow ourselves up to 30 minutes for a delivery/collection to set up/pack away safely.
We cannot come through any houses with inflatables due to Insurance reasons, we need outside access to gardens via a gate/ alleyway etc. Garages are ok to come through but we need clear access through them.

We take pride in our 100% safety record here at Rivera Events and put the safety of our users at the forefront of everything we do and with this in mind we feel we need to send out clarification on what to look for when hiring from us or any other inflatable hire company to ensure a safe hire at your party or event.
Most importantly each and every inflatable requires an annual test certificate to be either carried out by a Rpii or Pipa Inspector and must also have public liability insurance for each individual inflatable or any other hire equipment.
(Please feel free to contact us for our details of Insurance and evidence of our test certificates and we will be glad to provide these to you or your venue) NO test means NO valid insurance please ask for these when booking any inflatable from us or anyone else.

We will not set up if there are more than 5 steps into the set up area (if you haven't declared them to us previously and had them agreed by us).
We will not setup up if we arrive and we cannot anchor all anchor points into grass.
We will not set up if the area is not clear and ready for the inflatable.
We will not set up if the surface is not level or not in a satisfactory condition (sharp objects, animal faeces, etc.)
We won't set up in wind gusts are 25mph and above as this is against HSE Regulations, we will however move your booking fee onto a future booking as we obviously don't find you the customer to blame in this situation.
Lives are at risk in these conditions and an inflatable shouldn't be used if the wind speed gusts are 25 mph and above (We always carry an anemometer to get an accurate measure of the speeds rather than just rely on a wind speed app to measure the wind speed via the microphone of a phone. the MET office app/website will be used for forecasts as to whether it will be possible to set up).
You will be left with an anemometer for the duration of your hire and you will be required to measure the wind every 30 minutes and record it on the log sheet provided.. as there is a tolerance of accuracy of +/-5%, 22mph or above on a reading will be our cut of point and our inflatables won't be used if the anemometer shows that reading.
The hirer of any inflatable and equipment is responsible at all times to make sure their guests use the inflatable/equipment safely and in a proper manner and we always go through a safety briefing with you once the equipment has all been set up and leave you with safety instructions.
